The stocked potatoes are transported to the plant where they are carefully processed through adequate manufacturing stages.
  • Washing unit - An extensive cleaning stage.
  • Peeling unit - Potatoes are steam peeled.
  • Control unit - Automatic quality selection process.
  • Cutting unit - Only the best potatoes are allowed to go through the cutting unit. A sophisticated hydraulic cutter and calibrator make sure fries are identical in shape and size.
  • Bleaching unit - The secret of healthy, crispy and tasty fries. In this unit sugar and starch are removed from the fries.
  • Drying Unit - The elimination of water from the fries reduces oil absorption during the frying operation.
  • Frying unit - The fries are half fried in pure oil. Oil Filtration reiterates every 2 minutes.
  • Deep freezing unit - The hot fries (80) are then stocked in special containers at -20C temperature.
  • Packaging unit - An automatic packaging process ensures that every Ready Frites product conforms to International Health Standards requirements, Ready Frites are packed and sealed in special protective plastic bags.
